Nu-Salya, which means "My Vision" in Coast Salish, is located in the upper Garibaldi Highlands, just 35 minutes south of the Whistler Creekside gondola and offers ocean fjord and glacier views.

In May, 2000, the 20th Century Fox film Say It Isn’t So, with Heather Graham, Chris Klein and Sally Fields, was partly shot at the chalet.
