   the prestigious Canada Select five star rating     

There are only a few B&BS in all of Canada that have been recognized as five star properties, and it becomes the first and only five star Canada Select B&B in the West Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler region. 

June 2002 Forbes Travel selects Nusalya B&B Chalet as the only Canadian B&B in it’s list of top 12 B&B’s out of 25,000 (18,000 in the US and 7,000 in Canada) in North America.

2003.. Penguin Publishing has chosen Nusalya B&B Chalet 
for the front cover of the Canadian Bed and Breakfast Guide 2002/03 edition.

  2003.. Nusalya B&B Chalet is chosen by artist Andrea Levasseur as part of an international  watercolour canvas, she chose NuSalya Chalet as a classic example of West Coast architecture and character. When I showed it to my colleagues online, they said it was great and that it screamed Canadian, which is exactly what I was aiming for, she said. . The creation of the painting, named Global Village has become truly a worldwide effort of vision and creativity all to benefit Global Volunteers Project Peace in An Shang, China – Article by Todd Lawson, Reporter.

                                              
  June 2004.. Nusalya B&B Chalet is included in a film documentary called Secrets of Vancouver and British Columbia produced 
 by Bellevue Entertainment of Chicago for the Travel Channel a division of the Discovery Channel. 
The film crew did their camera tour of Nusalya B&B Chalet on Saturday July 10, 2004. The program is scheduled to be aired in summer of 2005 with an estimated audience of 75 million viewers.……more            

January 2005….Nusalya B&B Chalet is included in a new book called 
"ON DESIGN -Designing a Better Log Home" by Murray Arnott who 
won the 1998 Gold Award for the Best Single Family Home in B.C. 
(2500-3499 Square Feet) by the Canadian Home Builders Association
