May 2006….Westworld 2006 summer edition includes Nusalya Chalet
in their "Weekenders" article written By Jeff Topham.

"You could camp out in one of the Chiefs cliff-hanger suites a tethered tent suspended high above the funky main street of Cleveland Avenue, on a wind-whipped rock face. But for a more restful weekender, try climbing into one of the three luxurious rooms at Nu-Salya B&B Chalet. Perched hillside in the Garibaldi Highlands, Nu-Salya is the dream home of Bill McComish (Belfast builder, photographer, first-class raconteur) and wife Sue (emergency room nurse, killer cook). The word Nu-Salya is Coast Salish for "my vision," and the B&Bs views of Howe Sound and the Tantalus Range alone are enough to rejuvenate weary adventurers. But it doesnt hurt to also have massive, comfy beds, jacuzzi baths, an outdoor hot tub, a comprehensive collection of First Nations art, a 12-metre-high rock fireplace (not for climbing) and a baby grand piano (in case Oscar Peterson decides to check in for some kite-boarding)."

Nusalya B&B Chalet is included in Fodor’s Guide to Vancouver & British Columbia – Fodor’s local writers have traveled throughout the area to find the best hotels, restaurants, attractions and activities to prepare you for a journey of stunning variety, and here is what they write about Nusalya B&B Chalet………

"One of the most beautiful alpine B&B’s in Canada , the chalet provides a peaceful respite from the bustle of nearby Squamish and Whistler. Flared logs, river rock, and creative landscaping enhance the exterior. The Great Room houses a 40 foot high river rock fireplace, and owners Bill and Sue’s Native art collection. Rooms are adorned with original oil paintings, Native American art, and reproduction colonial furniture. Expansive windows throughout provide breathtaking Fjord and mountain views."

April 2007…..LETTER FROM CANADA by
Gundra Kucy-Travel Writer Bahrain Traveler Magazine.

"But when such grandeur of nature beckons, then even a delicious breakfast spread at one of Canadas very few five-star B&B accommodations could not keep us any longer indoors. We were anxious to experience for ourselves what we had heard the evening before from a Swiss couple, sitting together in front of a soaring wood burning, 40 foot high, river-rock fireplace, sharing with other guests our first days adventure of eagle-spotting." ……….more
